How To Make A Cereal Milk Latte

Yes, this counts as breakfast.

INGREDIENTS

CEREAL MILK

30g cereal of choice

300ml milk of choice

CEREAL MILK LATTE

250ml cereal milk

Double espresso

Dry cereal for garnish

BUILD

You can really use whatever cereal you like for this and, in that vein, any milk. Some of my favorite cereals for this use are Froot Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Frosted Flakes. Essentially, something sweet and distinct in flavor.

Place both dry cereal and milk in a blender and pulse until cereal is fully broken down, approximately 30-40 seconds.

Line a fine sieve with cheesecloth and filter the thick cereal milk through it. Repeat if necessary until the milk doesn't have any visible cereal grains.

Cereal milk will steam like normal milk if you prefer your drinks hot, just be sure to purge your steamwand after to ensure you haven't captured any cereal fines up in your machine.

Either way, hot or cold, combine your espresso and cereal milk and give everything a stir. Garnish liberally with dry cereal for extra pizzazz.
