An Italian classic that’s best enjoyed on a sweltering summer afternoon.
What You'll Need
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker
- Espresso machine
- Coupe glass or small martini glass
Espresso Shakerato
- 5g sugar
- 2oz freshly pulled espresso
- 3 drops 25% saline solution
- Lemon peel for garnish
Build
- In a cocktail shaker, add the sugar, espresso, and saline. Swirl the shaker a few times to begin dissolving the sugar.
- Shake vigorously with ice for 30-40 seconds.
- Strain the drink into a coupe or small martini glass.
- Express a lemon peel over the surface of the drink before enjoying.
